Mark B. Haskins,  CSP - Professional Biography

Mark Haskins has over 20 years experience in safety and health. Mark's experience includes safety positions with a premier pharmaceutical company, a major chemical company as well as safety positions in consulting and on major projects for an international construction company. In addition, Mark holds a faculty appointment at the University of New haven, School of Public Safety and Professional Studies, Occupational Health and Safety Department. He is a Certified Safety Professional in Comprehensive Practice. Mark has a master's degree in occupational safety and health management, a graduate certificate in industrial hygiene and a bachelor's degree in biology. He is a certified firefighter as well as a hazardous materials trainer.

Mark is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the American Society of Safety Engineers. He serves on the Connecticut Business and Industry Association's Safety Advisory Committee, is a member and instructor for the Safety Council of Western New England, and is on the Advisory Board for Business and Legal Reports. He has authored articles on safety and health management and is a frequent speaker at local, regional and national seminars and conferences.
Patricia A. Cushman, CSP - Professional  Biography

Patti Cushman is an experienced professional in both process safety and safety engineering. She is a trained expert in root cause analysis and works directly with manufacturing facilities to identify and develop solutions for potential hazards. Patti is an authorized OSHA outreach trainer for 10 hour and 30 hour General Industry courses. Patti's experience includes safety positions in both process safety and safety engineering for a premier pharmaceutical company. She has conducted hundreds  of process hazards analyses and safety reviews for bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing and specialty chemical production. She has also held project management positions in chemical production and general industry. Patti is a Certified Safety Professional in Comprehensive Practice. She has post graduate certificates in both safety engineering and industrial hygiene. She has a master's in Occupational Safety and Health Management, an MBA in finance, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
